Past Presidents who are not fully retired Sheriffs and individuals who possess a Lifetime Membership ( Honorary or Purchased) may use this category to register for the conference.

Fully Retired Sheriffs

Fully Retired Sheriffs are former sheriffs, including Past Presidents and Lifetime Members, who are no longer gainfully employed full time in ANY occupation and who either possess or are eligible for an honorably retired licensure status. *Individuals who do not qualify as a Fully Retired Sheriff under this option will be charged the regular participant rate listed above.

This registration price does not include the cost of annual membership. Retired sheriffs that are not past presidents and lifetime members and whose dues are not current for the ensuing year (July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027) will be billed the additional cost of membership ($50.00). Represents the spouse, domestic partner, or adult guest of a registered participant. Maximum of two guest registrations per member are allowed without special approval. Each registration includes a complimentary Associate Membership for non-members effective through December 31, 2026.

Youth

Youth are defined as minors ages 5–16 who are registered to attend the conference by a participant. Youth must always be accompanied by a chaperone (registered parent, family member, or dedicated chaperone) while in the Convention Center or attending conference-related events. Parents, grandparents, and other relatives registered to attend the conference as either participants or spouses/guests may serve as the chaperone for those youth linked to their respective registrations. Or a participant can register a dedicated chaperone (see below) to oversee those youth. Designated chaperones must be at least 21 years old; however, a youth’s sibling who is at least 19 years old and has graduated high school may serve as the youth’s designated chaperone. Chaperones must have the ability to supervise, authority to discipline, and authorization to make emergency or medical decisions for the youth in their care, including administering medications and overseeing special dietary needs. Participants, spouses/guests, or dedicated chaperones who have children to accompany them on Youth Events at no added cost provided the chaperone is able to properly administer care and control for all children under their charge.

Dedicated Youth Chaperone

Conference participants may designate a qualified individual to serve as a Dedicated Chaperone for the youth registered by them to accompany those youth during conference events. Dedicated chaperones must be at least 21 years old; however, a sibling who is at least 19 years old and has graduated high school may serve as a chaperone for their younger siblings. A dedicated chaperone may not take responsibility for youth registered by more than one participant, nor supervise more than three youth unless the youth participants under their charge are immediate family members. Parents, grandparents, and other relatives who are registered as participants or spouses/guests for the conference may serve as a chaperone for the youth registered by that participant without paying a separate dedicated chaperone fee.  Chaperones must have the ability to supervise, authority to discipline, and authorization to make emergency or medical decisions for the youth in their care, including administering medications and overseeing special dietary needs

Each exhibit booth includes two complementary exhibitor registrations.  Two additional representatives (maximum) may be added per booth at a cost of $150 per person, except when included with certain sponsorship levels.
